Your Power Ems 15 product is intended for use by healthy adults aged 18 and above. Before usage, always adhere to the following guidelines and thoroughly read the instruction manual. It is imperative to consult your physician regarding any queries before employing your EMS device.
Do not utilize if:
- You have an electronic implant such as a cardiac pacemaker or defibrillator, as the Power Ems 15 product may interfere with the functionality of the implanted stimulator, or if you have any other heart-related issues.
- Any other form of implant exists in areas where EMS is applied (abdomen, biceps, buttocks) as the safety regarding electronic muscle stimulators over implants has not been established.
- You are pregnant or suffer from cancer, as the effects of electronic stimulation on cancerous tissue are uncertain.
- The device must not be worn over areas where drugs/medicines are administered by injection.
- You are under medical supervision for cognitive dysfunction as compliance with safety instructions may be compromised.
- The controller is in proximity (within 3 ft) to shortwave or microwave therapy equipment or if connected to high-frequency surgical equipment due to the risk of device malfunction from electronic interference.
WARNINGS:
- The long-term effects of chronic electronic stimulation are unknown.
- Avoid using the product while sleeping to ensure prompt reaction to safety information.
Wait before using your product until:
- At least 6 weeks postpartum or 3 months post-Caesarean section. Consult your doctor before use.
- One month following the fitting of an IUD contraceptive device (e.g., coil). Consult your doctor before use.
- The cessation of heavy menstrual bleeding as vigorous abdominal exercise is not recommended during this time.
When applying gel pads and the belt, always remember to:
- Place GelPads and belt ONLY on the muscles as indicated in the manual.
- Avoid placing GelPads or belt on the neck, heart, genital region, or head to prevent stimulation of inappropriate muscles and organs.
- Avoid application near the thorax to minimize the risk of cardiac fibrillation.
- Avoid placing GelPads over metal implants; instead, position them on the nearest muscles.
PRECAUTIONS:
- Caution should be exercised for patients with suspected or diagnosed epilepsy.
- Care should be taken in cases of internal bleeding tendencies, recent surgical procedures, or areas of skin lacking normal sensation.
- The product is not intended for medical use or for treating medical conditions.
Get your doctor’s permission before using your product if:
- You have a back problem or any serious illness or injury not mentioned in the guide.
- You have recently undergone surgery, take insulin for diabetes, want to use it on a young child, suffer from muscle or joint problems, or use it as part of a rehabilitation program.
Adverse reactions:
- Skin irritations and burns have been reported with the use of powered muscle stimulators.
- First-time users may experience light-headedness or faintness; it is recommended to use the product while seated initially.
To reposition Gel pads during a session:
- Pause the program, adjust GelPads' positions, and refasten the belt behind your back.
After strenuous exercise:
- Use lower intensity to prevent muscle fatigue.

Note:
- An effective session should not cause undue discomfort.
- Muscle stimulation can feel unusual initially; begin with low intensity settings while seated.
- Keep the product away from children and avoid connecting studs and gel pads to other objects.
- Do not use simultaneously with other devices transferring electrical current.
- Avoid touching gel pads or studs while the controller is on.
- Do not use during activities where involuntary muscle contractions pose a risk.
- The belt is for single-person use only.
- Cease usage if feeling light-headed or faint.
- Do not overexert yourself during stimulation.
- Remove belly-button ring before use.
- Non-compliance with guidelines absolves Power Ems 15 of responsibility.
